The Uyghurs have a Proverb:

Burning outside the fire is worse than burning inside [the fire].

The Proverb seems to be about Injustice and its direct and indirect Consequences.

If anyone could translate that Sentence, why not translate the Quotation by Willy Fautré at the English Edition of Wiktionary?
