Dionysius wird andernorts wie folgt zitiert: „The contact with manners then is education; and this Thucydides appears to assert when he says history is philosophy learned from examples. Dionysius Halikarnassos: Ars Rhetorica, ch. XI, sec. 2“

Inzwischen ist insofern von „Pseudo-Dionysius“ die Rede: Autor dieser Ars Rhetorica sei w:Menander Rhetor.
